UPSC NDA 1 Examination 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Nationality:
A candidate must be an unmarried male and must be :
- A citizen of India or
- The subject of Nepal, or
- A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, and East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, and Ethiopia or Vietnam to permanently settle in India.
Educational Qualification:
(i) For Army Wing of National Defence Academy: 12th grade pass on the 10+2 school education pattern, or passing an equivalent test administered by a university or state education board.
(ii) For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy: 12th Class pass with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics from the 10+2 School Education pattern or equivalent from a State Education Board or a University.
Note: Candidates may also apply for this exam if they are taking the 10+2 pattern of school education for their 12th class or an equivalent exam.
Age Limit:
Only unmarried male and female candidates born between July 2, 2005 and July 1, 2008 are eligible.
UPSC NDA 1 Examination 2024 Salary Details
The shortlisted candidates would receive a monthly salary ranging from Rs. 15,500/- to Rs. 2,50,000/- depending on their position.
