UKSSSC High Court Recruitment 2026 Age Limit

  • For Stenographer Grade-1 / Personal Assistant: A minimum of 80 words per minute in Hindi shorthand and 25 wpm in Hindi computer typing is required. Candidates demonstrating 80 wpm in English shorthand and 35 wpm in English computer typing will be preferred. Good knowledge of computer operation is also mandatory.

UKSSSC High Court Recruitment 2026 Selection Process

The selection journey for these roles is designed to identify the most suitable candidates and consists of two main stages:

  1. Written Competitive Examination: You’ll first take an objective-type Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) exam, which can be conducted offline or online. This test will have a total of 140 marks and cover General Knowledge and General Studies. You’ll have 2 hours and 30 minutes to complete it. Do note that there is a negative marking of 1/4th mark for each incorrect answer, so answer wisely! To qualify, General/OBC candidates need a minimum of 45%, while SC/ST candidates need 35%.
  2. Typing/Shorthand Test: Candidates who qualify the written exam will proceed to a separate skill test focusing on Typing and/or Shorthand, depending on the post applied for. This test is worth 60 marks and will assess your practical proficiency as required for the role.
