Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

Post Name	Qualification
School Assistant	Candidates must have completed their graduation or postgraduate studies with a B.Ed from any recognised university or institution. (or) B.A.B.Ed. or B.Sc.B.Ed. integrated degree AND Pass Paper II of the Telangana State Eligibility Test (TSTET)/Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET)/Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET), which includes Mathematics and Science as optional subjects.
Language Pandit	Candidates from a recognized institution or college must hold a Bachelor of Education degree (Telugu, Hindi, Urdu, Kannada, Marathi, Oriya, Tamil, or Sanskrit). (or) Must have a 4-year B.A.B.Ed./B.Sc.B.Ed. Integrated degree with at least 50% marks. Pass Paper II of the Telangana State Eligibility Test (TSTET)/Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET)/Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) with optional subjects of i. Mathematics and Science or ii. Social Studies.
Physical Education Teacher	Must have completed Intermediate with at least 50%. AND A certificate/undergraduate diploma/diploma in physical education from an NCTE-recognized institution. (Or) Must have a bachelor’s degree. AND Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.Ed.) of at least one year from any NCTE-accredited institution.
Secondary Grade Teachers (SGT)	Candidates must have completed their Intermediate with a 2-year D.Ed degree, a 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education, or an equivalent credential recognized by NCTE. Pass Paper I of the Telangana State Eligibility Test (TSTET), Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET), or Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET).

Nationality

The applicant must be of Indian nationality.
The candidate must be a resident of Telangana and meet the qualifications for local or non-local status.

Age Limit:

Minimum Age Limit – 18 years
Maximum Age Limit – 46 years

Selection Process

Candidates will be selected based on their performance in the Computer-Based Test (CBT). For more information, see the sections below.

Except for School Assistants (Physical Education), selection for School Assistants (SAs) and Language Pandits (LPs) will be based on a combined score of 80% in the Written Test (DSC) and 20% in Paper II of the TET.
School Assistants (Physical Education) and Physical Education Teachers (PETs) will be chosen based on their performance in the Written Test (DSC).
Selection will be based on the aggregate marks obtained in the Written Test (DSC-2023) 80% and Paper I of the TET (20%) Weightage.
