Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

• Junior Statistical Officer – A Bachelor’s degree in any subject from an accredited university or institute, with at least 60% of the marks in mathematics (class 12) OR a bachelor’s degree in any field that includes statistics as one of the subjects required for graduation.
• Statistical Investigator Grade-II – A Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with statistics as one of the courses from a recognized university/institute at the graduation level.
• All Other Posts – A Bachelor’s degree in any field from an accredited college, university, or other equivalent institution.

Age Limit:

• Minimum – 18 years
• Maximum – 30 years

Salary Details

• Pay Level-7: Rs. 44,900/- to 1,42,400/-
• Pay Level-6: Rs. 35,400/- to 1,12,400/-
• Pay Level-5: Rs. 29,200/- to 92,300/-
• Pay Level-4: Rs. 25,500/- to 81,100/-

Selection Process

The SSC CGL Recruitment 2024 Selection Process consists of multiple stages as mentioned below:

• Tier 1 – Computer-based test, the first stage of the selection process.
• Tier 2 – Computer-based test, which includes three papers – Paper-I, Paper-II, and Paper-III.
• Tier II will include conducting Paper-I, Paper-II, and Paper-III in separate shift(s)/ day(s).
• Paper-I is compulsory for all the posts
• Paper-II will be for only those candidates who apply for the posts of Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) in the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation and Statistical Investigator Grade-II in the office of Registrar General of India (M/o Home Affairs) and who are shortlisted in Tier-I for these Posts.
• Paper-III will be for only those candidates who are shortlisted in Tier-I for Paper-III i.e. for the posts of Assistant Audit Officer/ Assistant Accounts Officer
