SBI Specialist Officer Recruitment 2026 Application Fees

  • General/EWS/OBC Candidates: ₹750/-.
  • SC/ST/PwD Candidates: Nil (Exempted).

SBI Specialist Officer Recruitment 2026 Age Limit

To be eligible for the SBI Trade Finance Officer role, candidates must meet the following age criteria as of April 30, 2026:

  • General / UR / EWS: 23 to 32 years.
  • OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 23 to 35 years (inclusive of 3 years relaxation).
  • SC / ST: 23 to 37 years (inclusive of 5 years relaxation).
  • PwBD – UR / EWS: 23 to 42 years (inclusive of 10 years relaxation).
  • PwBD – OBC (NCL): 23 to 45 years (inclusive of 13 years relaxation).
  • PwBD – SC / ST: 23 to 47 years (inclusive of 15 years relaxation).

Age relaxation for reserved categories is strictly as per Government of India guidelines.

Educational Qualification & Experience

For the Trade Finance Officer (MMGS-II) position, candidates must fulfill the following key requirements:

  • Mandatory Educational Qualification: A Graduate degree (in any discipline) from a Government recognized University.
  • Mandatory Certification: A valid Certification in Forex Operations from IIBF. This certificate must be dated on or before April 30, 2026. Without this, your application will not be considered.
  • Essential Experience: A minimum of 2 years of post-qualification experience in Trade Finance processing, specifically in a supervisory or official role within any Scheduled Commercial Bank.

Candidates possessing additional certifications like CDCS (Documentary Credit Specialists), Certificate in Trade Finance, or Certificate in International Banking (dated on or before April 30, 2026) will have an added advantage.
