Educational Qualifications and Experience –

Minimum Qualifications:

• Degree in Electronics & Telecommunication/Computer Engineering or equivalent experience in supporting end users and providing hands-and-feet support for data centers/hub rooms and telecom infrastructure in the ITES/BPO industry.
• ITIL Version 3 or 4 foundation training/certification.

Preferred Qualifications/Skills:

• Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills in English and the local language.
• Ability to deliver tasks on time.

Job Profile and Responsibilities

• Manage cases in ticketing tool queues.
• Handle P4 Incidents and Service Requests in the ticketing tool.
• Address reported issues and approved tickets within agreed SLA’s.
• Resolve issues and update tickets with the relevant resolution.
• Troubleshoot hardware, OS, standard office suite, and browser issues.
• Provide hardware support for desktops, laptops, and thin clients. Offer initial support for printers, scanners, and multi-function devices.
• Perform installations, movements, transfers, and surrenders of desktops, laptops, thin clients, printers, scanners, MFPs, and mobile devices such as iPads, adhering to organization hardening guidelines via MDT setup.
• Support new transitions, ramp-ups/downs, business migrations, and site consolidation projects.
• Utilize media disposal tools such as Kill Disk, Eraser, and Degausser.
• Install and troubleshoot equipment in data centers, MUX, and hub rooms.
• Maintain physical CMDB/U level diagrams and DC layout for all installed devices in data centers and hub rooms.
• Follow the change management process for all infrastructure changes.
• Assist in the activation and deactivation of data and voice ports, and troubleshoot related issues.
• Provide physical assistance in moving and racking/stacking equipment.
• Capture logs and share them with central teams.
• Offer physical support for decommissioning and troubleshooting voice devices, voice gateways, circuit packs, and phones.
• Maintain the CMDB of all devices installed on the floor.
• Trace and lay new cables in data centers and MUX rooms, dress and label cables, and ensure the organization of cables in DC/Hub rooms.
