Educational Qualification
To be eligible for the ECoR Apprentice Recruitment 2026, candidates must have passed Matriculation (10th Class) with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks from a recognized Board. Additionally, an ITI certificate in the relevant designated trade, affiliated to NCVT, is mandatory. Designated trades include Fitter, Welder, Electrician, Carpenter, Machinist, and many others, as detailed in the official notification.
Selected candidates will undergo apprenticeship training as per the Apprentices Act, 1961. During this training period, all selected apprentices will receive a monthly stipend at the prescribed rate, following the existing rules and directives issued by the Railway Board.
