This requirement may be waived if the candidate has worked as a Stenographer (Lower Grade) for at least 10 years or a Stenographer (Higher Grade) for at least 8 years in the High Court or any other Court or Tribunal, or in the office of the Advocate General or Government Pleader, with preference given to candidates with a Degree in Law.

Age Limit:

  • According to the Bombay High Court Recruitment Announcement, the candidate must be between the ages of 21 and 38. In the case of the General Category, and no older than 43 years.
  • SC, ST, and OBC candidates have a 5-year age relaxation.
