To process your application and cover the Computer Based Test (CBT), a fee of ₹1,000/- is required for all candidates. This payment must be made online between June 30th and July 20th, 2026. Please note that this fee is non-refundable.

Age Limit

Wondering if you fit the age criteria? As of July 1st, 2026, the minimum age to apply is 18 years. Maximum age varies:

• General (OC): Up to 42 years.
• SC/ST/BC/EWS Candidates: Up to 47 years.

Educational Qualification

To be eligible for these AEE roles, you’ll need a solid academic background. Candidates must hold a Degree in the relevant Engineering discipline (Electrical Engineering / Electrical & Electronics Engineering for AEE Electrical; Telecommunications / Electronics / Electronics & Communication Engineering for AEE Telecom; or Civil Engineering for AEE Civil) from a recognized University, or an equivalent qualification approved by AICTE and UGC. Degrees obtained through distance learning from other State Universities (outside Andhra Pradesh) won’t be considered valid, so consult the official notification for precise details.

APTRANSCO AEE Recruitment 2026 Selection Process

The path to becoming an APTRANSCO AEE involves a straightforward yet thorough selection process:

1. Common Computer Based Test (CBT): Your journey begins with an online examination. This 3-hour test, conducted in English, carries 100 marks, with no negative marking.
2. Certificate Verification: Candidates excelling in the CBT will be shortlisted (1:1 ratio, category-wise) for document verification.
3. Final Allotment: Post-verification, final selection and allotment to APTRANSCO or other participating utilities will be based on CBT merit, reservation, local candidature, vacancy, and your stated preferences.

Minimum Qualifying Marks in CBT:

• OC/EWS: 40%
• BC: 35%
• SC/ST/PwBD: 30%

The CBT covers: Core Subject (70 marks), Reasoning & General Intelligence (5 marks), General Awareness (7 marks), English Language & Comprehension (5 marks), Quantitative Aptitude (8 marks), and Computer Knowledge (5 marks).
