Educational Qualifications and Experience –

• A high school diploma or its equivalent.
• Completion of a STEM program or a vocational program.
  The minimum age is 18.
• Proficiency with the software and tools offered by Microsoft Office.
• The capacity to work 40 hours a week, plus extra when required.
• Availability for 10-hour shifts when needed.
• Familiarity with utilizing a ticketing system to coordinate with management and manage tasks and priorities.
• Familiarity with computer hardware components and operating systems.

Job Profile and Responsibilities

• Providing assistance with data center infrastructure equipment such as racks, servers, networking devices, and hardware components.
• Routine operational duties on hardware, operating systems, and spare components, such as rack installation, server maintenance, and decommissioning.
• Following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for hardware component replacements and media spares.
• Collaborating with a team to complete assignments and ensure smooth handovers during shift changes.
• Prioritising issue resolution according to severity and achieving Service Level Agreement (SLA) standards.
• Documenting work activities via a ticket tracking system.
• Inventory management includes identifying, receiving, and deploying hardware components.
• Adhere to information security regulations and physical safety protocols.
• Deviations from established processes or procedures continue to escalate.
• Assisting with visitor and contractor escort tasks.
• As a member of the worldwide support team, you will be professionally representing AWS.
• Maintaining a culture of safety, security, and inclusion.
• This profession requires physical duties such as lifting and racking equipment weighing up to 18kg, as well as working in tight or elevated places while adhering to health and safety rules.
• The employment requires a 24-hour shift rotation.
