Age Limit

The age of the candidates will be calculated as of 1st July 2025. The specific age criteria for different categories are as follows:

  • Minimum Age: All candidates must be at least 26 years old.
  • Maximum Age (General Category): Candidates from the ‘Others’ or General category should not be more than 36 years old.
  • No Maximum Age Limit: There is no upper age limit for candidates belonging to SC/ST/MBC/BC/BCM categories.

Educational Qualification

To be eligible for the Assistant Public Prosecutor post, applicants must meet stringent educational and professional standards. Candidates must hold a B.L. Degree from a UGC-recognized university.
