Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

Data Entry Operator (DEO)/DEO Grade ‘A’ at the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, and Culture requires a 12th Standard pass in the Science stream with Mathematics as a subject from a recognized Board or equivalent.

For LDC/JSA and DEO/DEO Grade ‘A’ (excluding DEOs in Department/Ministry indicated in Para 8.1 above), candidates must have passed the 12th Standard or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University.

Candidates who have taken their 12th standard or equivalent exams may also apply; however, they must have the necessary qualifications on or before the cutoff date, 01-08-2024.

Age Limit:

The age eligibility for NPSC CTSE positions ranges from 18 to 27 years. This means that candidates born between the 8th of February 1997 and the 1st of August 2006 are eligible to apply. Furthermore, relaxations are provided for specific categories:

For OBC candidates, there is a 3-year relaxation.
For SC/ST candidates, there is a 5-year relaxation.
PwD (UR/EWS) Candidates: A 10-year relaxation.
PwD (OBC) Candidates: A 13-year relaxation.
PwD (SC/bST) candidates are granted a 15-year age relaxation.

Salary Details

• Lower Division Clerk (LDC)/Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA): Pay Level 2 (Rs.19,900 to Rs.63,200/-).
• Data Entry Operator (DEO): Pay Levels 4 (Rs.25,500/- to Rs.81,100/-) and 5 (Rs.29,200/- to Rs.92,300/-).
• Data Entry Operator (DEO) Grade A: Pay Level-4 (Rs. 25,500/- to Rs. 81,100/-)
