NFC Apprentice Recruitment 2025 Salary Details
Selected apprentices will be entitled to a monthly stipend during their training period as per Central Government norms. The stipend amount varies based on the trade group:
Rs. 10,560/- per month: For trades like Fitter, Turner, Electrician, Machinist, Instrument Mechanics, Electronics Mechanics, etc.
Rs. 9,600/- per month: For trades like COPA, Diesel Mechanic, Carpenter, Plumber, Welder, and Stenographer (English).
The selection of candidates will be purely based on merit. There will be no written examination for most trades. Here’s how the process works:
Merit List: A merit list will be prepared based on the percentage of marks obtained by the candidate in their qualifying examination (10th Standard and ITI).
Tie-Breaker: In case of a tie in marks, the candidate with higher marks in the 10th/SSC examination will be given preference.
Interview (for Electrician Trade only): Candidates shortlisted for the Electrician trade may be required to attend an interview.
