Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
- A medical qualification listed in the first, second, or third schedules of the Indian Medical Council Act 1956 (persons with credentials listed in Part II of the third schedule must additionally meet the conditions stipulated in Section 13(3) of the Act).
- Must be registered with the Central or State Medical Council.
- For a broad specialty postgraduate degree, such as an MD, MS, or DNB in the relevant specialty, or an equivalent.
- The necessary qualification for the super specialty is MD/ MS/ DNB in a related wide specialty or DM/ M.Ch/ DNB in the relevant super specialty.
Age Limit:
The upper age limit of the candidates should not exceed 45 years to apply for this post.
Salary Details
The selected applicants would be assigned a Pay Matrix (Level-11) with a minimum of Rs. 67,700/- + NPA (for medical staff) based on the 7th CPC recommendations.
Selection Process
The process for selecting Senior Residents will be as follows.
Written Examination (MCQ-based)- 80% weightage.
Departmental assessment carries a 20% weightage.
