RRB JE Recruitment 2026 Application Fee

To complete your application, an examination fee is required. The details are as follows:

• General Candidates: ₹500/-. A significant portion, ₹400/-, will be refunded to your account after you appear for the 1st Stage Computer Based Test (CBT-I).
• SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen/PwBD/Female/Transgender/Minorities/EBC Candidates: ₹250/-. This entire amount will be refunded to you after you appear for the 1st Stage CBT-I.

Please note that the refund is conditional upon your appearance in the first stage of the CBT. Applicable bank charges will be deducted from the refund amount.

Age Limit

Candidates applying for the RRB JE Recruitment 2026 must meet the following age criteria as on 1st January 2027:

• Minimum Age: 18 years (candidates must not be born after 2nd January 2009).
• Maximum Age: 33 years.

Age relaxation will be provided to candidates belonging to reserved categories as per Government of India guidelines:

• OBC-NCL: 3 years relaxation (not born earlier than 2nd January 1991).
• SC/ST: 5 years relaxation (not born earlier than 2nd January 1989).
