Age Limit
To be eligible for these AEE roles, candidates must meet the age criteria as of 01st July 2026. Here’s a breakdown:
General Candidates: Minimum 18 years, Maximum 42 years.
SC/ST/BC/EWS Candidates: Minimum 18 years, Maximum 47 years (5 years relaxation).
Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD): Minimum 18 years, Maximum 52 years (10 years relaxation).
Age relaxation will be applied as per the Government of Andhra Pradesh guidelines for reserved categories.
Educational Qualification
Candidates applying for the Assistant Executive Engineer positions must possess a relevant B.E. or B.Tech degree from a recognized University in India, established by or under a Central/Provincial/State Act, and approved by AICTE and UGC. The specific qualifications vary by discipline:

APSPDCL AEE Recruitment 2026 Selection Process
The selection journey for APSPDCL AEE positions is a clear, multi-stage process designed to find the best talent:
Computer Based Test (CBT): This is the first crucial step! A common online test will be conducted for all three engineering disciplines (Electrical, Telecom, Civil). It will be held in English only, last for 3 hours, and carry a total of 100 marks. Good news: there’s absolutely no negative marking!
Initial Key Release & Objections: After the exams, an initial answer key will be published. Candidates will have 7 days to raise any objections, which will be carefully reviewed by an expert committee.
Final Key & Merit List: A final answer key will be released, followed by a merit list based on your scores in the CBT. Remember, in case of a tie, older candidates will be ranked higher.
Certificate Verification: Candidates making it to the merit list (in a 1:1 ratio with vacancies) will be invited for a thorough verification of their original documents.
Provisional Selection & Appointment: Finally, a provisional selection list will be prepared, leading to the issuance of appointment orders for selected candidates, provided all conditions are met.
