The selection process for the Fire Officer role primarily involves a Personal Interview, with a potential screening test.
Screening: Eligible candidates are shortlisted for a Personal Interview (PI) in a 1:10 ratio. If applicants exceed this, MRPL may use methods like considering higher qualifications/experience or conducting a Written (Screening) Test.
Written Test (if applicable): If conducted, the Written Test requires 50% qualifying marks for UR/OBC(NCL) but is for screening only and won’t affect the final merit.
Personal Interview (PI): The final merit list is based purely on PI performance, requiring a minimum 50% score. In case of a tie, the older candidate will be preferred.
