Secretariat Security Force Recruitment 2026 Application Fees
For General (UR) and OBC candidates, the application fee is ₹100/-. However, candidates belonging to SC categories and Ex-Servicemen are completely exempted from paying any fee. Secretariat Security Force Recruitment 2026 Age Limit
To be eligible for the SSF Tradesman posts, candidates must be between 18 and 23 years of age as of the closing date of application, which is 28th April 2026. This means candidates should have been born between 29th April 2003 and 28th April 2008 (inclusive of both dates).
Age relaxations will be provided for reserved categories as per Government of India rules:

Secretariat Security Force Recruitment 2026 Selection Process
The selection process for SSF Tradesman roles is a comprehensive multi-stage procedure designed to identify the best candidates. You’ll need to successfully clear each phase to move forward:
Phase I – Physical Efficiency Test (PET) & Physical Standard Test (PST): This initial stage evaluates your physical fitness. The PET includes a 1.6 km race (to be completed within 7 minutes 30 seconds), a Long Jump (11 feet, with 3 chances), and a High Jump (3½ feet, with 3 chances). PET is qualifying in nature. Following PET, candidates will undergo PST, where their height, chest, and weight measurements will be taken. (Please note: PET is not applicable for Ex-Servicemen).
Phase II – Written Examination (50 Marks): Candidates who successfully clear the PST will proceed to an objective-type written examination. This test will consist of 50 questions and must be completed within 1 hour.
Phase III – Trade Test (50 Marks): Shortlisted candidates from the written examination (up to 10 times the category-wise vacancies) will be called for a Trade Test specific to their chosen profession (Barber or Washerman). To qualify, candidates must score at least 50% marks in this test.
Medical Examination: The final stage involves the Verification of Original Documents followed by a Detailed Medical Examination (DME) to ensure candidates meet the required medical standards.
